“Food is not about impressing people. It’s about making them feel comfortable ” – INA GARTEN

Hi foodies !
I’m Freda Dias,
A pharmaceutical associate by profession, for the better part of my life, cooking and kitchen were the domain of my mother and later my mother in law.
But as life would have it, my husband received an offer to move to USA at the same time we were expecting our first child.
So after a year and half, in a new country, I have taken on the role of a stay at home mom.
I definitely enjoy this new role , which is more challenging , as every day is a new experience with lots of surprises along the way , some good and some err not so pleasant !
Why did I think of starting a blog? I joined a popular food group on Facebook about 6 months ago and I came across a number of food bloggers whose work truly inspired me , motivating me to commence this wonderful food adventure thereby amplifying my culinary skills:)
This blog is also an effort to document all the recipes I’ve learnt and that have been passed on to me by my Mom & Mom-in-law who are amazing Home chef’s , Goan cuisineΒ being their fortΓ©, I will also be sharing some recipes inspired from the web along with a few of my experiments .
Thank you for stopping by , and embarking with me in this wonderful food journey !
