My hubby is a big sports fan, be it football, basketball or F1. The playoff bowl games are his favorite. We usually have his friends over for bowl games. Sometimes the house is packed with guests. It’s like a carnival of sorts.

I love all kinds of biryani! A delectable rice and meat/veg preparation seasoned with aromatic spices and condiments infused with fragrant saffron and brown caramelized onions! As daunting as it looks, it’s not really very difficult to prepare a good biryani at home. You may need a few trials, to get all the proportions right.
Butter chicken or Murgh makhani, is probably one such Indian dish that requires no introduction. It is as popular and loved in India as it is globally. If you haven’t had the opportunity to taste this dish yet, you are definitely missing out on something. Don’t you just love it when it’s easy to cook up a tasty meal without having to slog it out in the kitchen? Indian food can be daunting, given its long list of ingredients and a lot of sautéing. But that’s the trade-off with authentic Indian dishes. Most North Indian dishes need these lengthy procedures but the resultant dish is well worth the effort!
Chicken 65 is a popular dish in South India, mostly served as an appetizer/entrée. Bone in or boneless chicken chunks are marinated in a flavorful and spicy marinade and deep fried. Of course, anything fried HAS to be tasty!! Period! In most cases, red food color is added to the marinade, which gives this dish an even more appetizing look.
